In some cases, you may be eligible to use out-of-network insurance benefits. You'll need to pay for each session in full at the time of your appointment. If applicable, I can provide a super bill each month that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

You can use the out-of-network reimbursement calculator below to estimate your costs. Typically, out-of-network benefits reimburse you for 60-80% of each session's cost. I'll provide monthly invoices, known as "super bills," (sent on the 1st of each month) with all the necessary information for your claims. Most insurance companies have a straightforward process. You'll upload your monthly super bill online, and they'll mail you a reimbursement check. It's a good idea to contact Member Services using the number on your health insurance card for specific details.

Yes, I reserve a limited number of sliding scale spots in my schedule. If my full fee is a financial challenge, please reach out. If I can't offer a sliding scale spot, I'll provide referrals to trusted clinicians in the area. If you prefer an in-network provider, check out www.psychologytoday.com for resources.

No, therapists can only work in states where they are licensed. I am licensed to work with residents of New York and Florida. You must reside in one of these states for us to work together.

As a Therapist, I have a collaborative, non-judgmental, and relatable approach that will make getting started a bit easier. During our first session or two, I'll ask you a bunch of questions to get a better picture of your life journey. I will listen to you without judgment. We will come up with goals together of what you hope to accomplish in therapy. During therapy you'll have an opportunity to vent, gain perspective and new insights, learn to challenge your thoughts, receive feedback, and develop and practice new coping skills. Sometimes therapy can be tough work, and sometimes it is fun and full of laughter. Either way, I am here to support you and will help you achieve the change and growth you are looking for.
